The footbridge carries cyclists over the Jizera River near the Kofola a.s. production plant and, together with the connecting section of the cycle path, links the towns of Mnichovo Hradiště and Klášter Hradiště nad Jizerou. The footbridge was built on the site of a former bridge and utilizes one of the existing abutments. The superstructure consists of a pair of steel I-girders with a composite reinforced concrete deck. The height of the superstructure varies, with a maximum height of 1.45 meters at mid-span. At both ends, reinforced concrete end crossbeams were constructed, and the deck is supported on a pair of bearings. The construction of the footbridge involved placing the complete steel structure onto temporary supports on the abutments, followed by casting the deck and end crossbeams without the use of temporary supports in the riverbed.
